VIP Head Coach – Frank Lee, Central Baptist College

CBC finished strong on the season making it to the NCCAA Central Region Championship game where they were knocked out by Colorado Christian. Frank Lee joined the staff last year as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.  Coach Lee is a professor in the Kinesiology Dept at CBC and those interested in sports management and sports medicine should grab some of his time this weekend to talk about his school.

Coach Lee was head coach at Williams Baptist University from 2005 -2016 prior to moving to Central Baptist College.

CBC Mustangs have a lot going on and a very worthy look for our players. Their starting pitcher, Ben Madison, just got drafted in the 9th round and was named NAIA All-American and NCCAA First team All-American. Earlier this spring they signed our own Trynt Tompkins to continue his education/baseball this fall after 2 years at MAC.

RULEs

NFHS rules will be used which means we don’t over run first base on a walk. Section 2, ART. 7 . . . A batter-runner who reaches first base safely and then overruns or overslides
may immediately return without liability of being put out provided he does not attempt or feint an advance to second. A player who is awarded first base on a base on balls does not have this right.
