After obtaining a degree in Sociology and working as a Social Worker for two years, his passion for baseball led him back to Greenville to become head coach of the Bears in 2003. He obtained his Master’s degree and Educational Specialist degree from Arkansas State University.

Coach Hill resides in Greenville with his wife Jordan and their three daughters Gracyn, Charly, and Reecie. When asked about working with high school baseball players again, Coach Hill stated, “I feel very blessed for every opportunity that baseball has given me and a passion for growing baseball players into mature and responsible men.”

Spokesman for the advisory board, Jeff Null of Three Rivers Softball who coached the team during its first two seasons and won 2 state championships and a berth to the 2016 World Series, stated, “Having Coach Hill working with these players is a great asset for the team. He is an outstanding coach and a great role model.”
